The other day I read that the Classic testing was going to be going on again and I got excited and told April. I was anticipating coming home and being able to log back onto Classic before it's release on August 27th. When I got home and wasn't able to log into the Classic server I was sad.

Turns out that they were opening the game back up to closed beta testers who were going to be able to play level 40 toons and be able to test out level 40-45 content. I was a sad panda. Read on for some of my thoughts as I wait for the Classic release.

Over the last few months I've given a lot of thought to the question of how exactly I wanted to start off my Mists of Pandaria experience. While it may seem a trivial thing to some, I really wanted to start this expansion right.

While I may be best known for my gold-making endeavors believe it or not I actually do more in World of Warcraft than make gold. Read on past the jump for my thoughts on the decision of whether to focus on gold-making or exploring the lore of Mists of Pandaria first.

After doing a Black Rock Depths run on my 85 I ended up with Runecloth. A lot of Runecloth. Indeed the AOE looting system that was introduced in Patch 5.0.4 has made running old instances much quicker. If you don't have to bend down to loot every mob you can simply round up a whole bunch of groups, AOE them down and click once to loot them all.

That wasn't what caught my attention. What caught my attention was the prices for Runecloth on my server which seemed far lower than I remembered. Read on past the jump for a bit of analysis on how AOE looting is changing the face of the cloth markets as we know them.

You may have seen my first video about farming Lovely Charms in Throne of the Tides. Well, I'm back at it and in this video I show an alternative spot I am using to not only farm Lovely Charms but also make some nice extra gold by drinking a Potion of Treasure Finding and selling the items I get in Tiny Treasure Chests. While it isn't as fast as the Throne of the Tides spot it is much more lucrative from a guaranteed-gold perspective.

This farming spot is called "Fractured Front" and is in western Deepholm.  You will see large numbers of Troggs fighting Dwarfs and Golems. Those Troggs are your targets. The video is from my perspective as a hunter but this can be farmed by pretty much any class. The first place I learned about this spot was in the comments on our "Trash Dash" post.

In this video I demonstrate how I utilize the Potion of Treasure Finding to help motivate and focus my skinning sessions.

While I'm not one to harp on "gold per hour" it was nice to see that I was able to get around 3000g worth of materials in this one hour farming session.

This cave in Nagrand (southwest of the Halaa PVP area) has turned out to be one of the best places to farm Netherweve Cloth in Outland I've found.
