Is Savage Blood Being Duped? Here's The Evidence


I was tipped off by Twitter user @OriShmori that there's a strong chance that Savage Blood is being duplicated ("duped") on several servers.

If this is true this could be very bad for anyone hoping to make gold selling Savage Blood or selling items made with Savage Blood.

This isn't the first time I've written on the topic of item duplication and its effects on the economy (see Strong Evidence of Rampant Item Duplication in WoW and Proof Of Jeweled Onyx Panther Duping And Its Effects On Pricing). Finding and Flipping Level 90 Warlords of Draenor BoE Greens From The AH



A new expansion is upon us and that means finding the green items that can be flipped. In the past these were the 77-80 Cataclysm items usable in Wrath of the Lich King (and PVP) and the 83-84 Mists of Pandaria items usable by those still in Cataclysm (and PVP).

With Warlords of Draenor Blizzard hasn't abandoned us old-time green flippers completely. The left us one possible source of flipping income: green Bind-on-Equip level 90 WoD items. These can be used by level 90s still in Mists of Pandaria.

WoW Auction Hunter by Brevisvox [Link]


Brevisvox writing in The Hatchery:

"As you can see in the chart, my total purchases were 1101g with AH fees totaling 436g for a total cost of 1537g.  My AH sales were 8001g with 46g from vendor sales for a total income of 8047g.  This experiment netted my 6510g profit for very little effort."

The 50 Most Expensive Transmog Items On My Server


I decided to have some fun with the exported data you can get from the Resources > Data Export page on WoWuction (example page).

In the chart above (and the data below) I used the .csv file and did some analysis to sort out the 50 most expensive transmog items based on 14-day Median Market Price.

A Guide To Grouper - Generate TSM Groups From Item Web Links



We've created a tool for creating importable TradeSkillMaster (TSM) groups from almost any webpage that includes links to World of Warcraft items. The tool has been fully updated to work with TradeSkillMaster 2.0's new group import format. It's called Grouper.

Grouper is based off of SLAGIT which was created by our longtime livestream viewer Rootfix and has been hosted at Power Word: Gold for a good while. Full 83-84 MoP Armor TradeSkillMaster Importable Lists


About a month ago it occurred to me that if I had a list of every desirable 83-84 Mists of Pandaria armor and suffix in the game and was able to import that list into TradeSkillMaster that I would be able to greatly simplify not only the selling of items in my 83-84 market items but also make buying them easier.

My goal was to build such a set of master lists I could import into TradeSkillMaster groups. Once I had created a groups using this lists I could then build TSM shopping operations to search for the items and TSM Auctioning Operations to sell these items. All this with out ever having to spend time adding newly purchased items one by one into TSM groups by hand.

Do Suffixes Matter When Selling Flipping Items?


As I discussed on Episode 067 of the podcast I've been thinking about optimizing my flipping item auctions in order to help cut down my posting fees.

87-88 MoP Item Sales Analysis & Adjustment



Once I've been working a new market for a while I like to stop and take stock of what's selling and what's not so I can adjust accordingly.

I did this for the "85-89" Mists of Pandaria market that I started preparing for before 5.3 and have since been selling in since Patch 5.3 dropped.

In analyzing this market I came to some conclusions and interesting discoveries that allowed me to adjust my tactics. Head past the jump for more.

Play Free For 7 Days (Of Gold-Making Goodness!!)



I received the following email from Blizzard for a few of my expired accounts. Last time they sent out an email like this I am fairly sure I saw a decent spike in my 77-80 and 83-84 item sales. If you sell 77-80 Cataclysm, 83-84, 87-88 MoP and Crafted Dreadful PVP items be sure to have yours up on the auction house. (See also The Big List Of 77-79 & 83-84 Item Flipping Information)

Players who take Blizzard up on its offer and play the game free for 7 days will likely want to take as much advantage of the "reduced XP needed from level 85 to 90" as they can. That often means buying some items from the auction house.

My New 85-89 MoP Item Market - Initial Results And Design


Just a quick post to say that, at least initially, the 85-89 Mists of Pandaria item market I decided to take a gamble on right before Patch 5.3 seems to be paying off.

The reason I got into this market was because the XP required to level from 85-90 was reduced buy 33%. This means more people leveling and thus more people buying weapons and armor from the auction house.
