The "Bankless" Glyph System - Three Chars, Zero Banks!

My search for a glyph selling system that works for me continues. After 1.5 hours in glyph posting purgatory I decided there had to be a better way.
What I wanted to eliminate: running back and forth to bank dozens of times managing expired glyphs.
This video goes over my solution: Three glyph sellers each with four 36-slot Royal Scribe Satchels (which I farmed all the leather for and many many Molten Front fire spiders died to help make). Read on for more details on the "bankless" glyph system.
My "bankless" glyph system allows me to manage all the glyphs directly out of the characters bags rather than ever having to use the bank. Things like collecting mail are greatly simplified as they simply require standing at the mailbox.
I can also perform glyph "stacking" with this system which means posting an additional glyph once I'm undrcut without having to cancel scan. This isn't possible with a "Move AH Shortfall To Bags" glyph selling system.
This also gives the advantage of allowing the characters to live a "normal" life by potting the four glyph bags into their bank to get back their bag space.
If you want to do this and need extra characters look into making those characters on a realm connected to yours. If you don't have a connected realm you will have to pick three characters that have 4 extra bag slots in their main bank (or can clear items out to make them).

Delete:), It beats switching bags and trying to keep track of it all, I use 3 characters, each with different sets of glyphs. Your doing pretty darn good for a noob,lol.
DeleteWell I'm not a total noob. I loved selling glyphs (by hand) in WotLK. I also sold quite a few early in Cata. I've just been out of the market for a few years. Feel good to be back but also remember some of the reasons I stopped.

ReplyDeleteHow do you make sure the right character has the right glyphs in their bags? Hand select the glyphs from the mailbox?
ReplyDeleteI set up mailing operations in TSM for each char and attach those operations to the right glyph group. I then use TSM mailing to automatically mail them to the right char.
